h.ear headphones - brand colour articulation

What did they need?

Sony wanted to update the colours for its popular h.ear range of headphones to better suit a younger audience, with more of a focus on complementing people's existing style.

 

Targeted at anyone who consider their headphones a fashion accessory, we had to find a fast way to explain this idea across a range of products. 

"Colours in harmony"

 

As it turned out, the name of the concept became the tagline. 'Colours in harmony' connected with the h.ear range's musical pedigree and connected with the brand's audience.

 

By showing the different shades in a montage of other items, we not only showed this harmony in action, but connected it to the target audience - young, style-conscious music lovers.
